Our Program

New program

We reinstated our Full-Day Kindergarten Program in September of 2010 when Edison Township Public Schools went to a half-day kindergarten. This program is for children who are five years of age by October 1. Please contact us for more information.

A Varied Schedule of Learning Experiences

The Center is licensed by the state of New Jersey for 108 children. Enrollment is limited to just 97 children.

Children attend on a full-time, full-day basis. We have five classes and the children are grouped according to age and developmental level.

Varied, daily activities help develop physical, social, creative, and intellectual skills. Learning is achieved through planned play activities.

Ages and Stages-3 and LAP are used to screen for developmental delays and to plan for individuals needs.

Several special programs are scheduled each month. Pony rides, puppet shows, musical concerts, magic shows, and petting zoos are some examples.

Two snacks are provided daily and lunch is either brought from home or purchased for an additional fee. Children nap on mats provided by the center. Kindergarten children do not nap.

The daily gym period, outdoor playground and recreation room provide an outlet for motor activities, while the classroom, library and quiet room provide space for quieter pursuits.
